Debbie Downer

So, during the shameless promotion of my business, I sent out an email to everyone in my address book to tell them about the blog. What do I get back from my brother, you ask? “Nice. Good luck keeping it up.” I know, right?!? I couldn’t let that go unanswered. My smarty-pants response was something to the effect of “Nicely done, Debbie Downer! I have a lot of faith in you, too!” (We have a similar sense of humor so I knew my comment would be taken in the spirit in which it was delivered!) We engaged in a bit of witty repartee because he is smart and funny like me as well! 
But the moral of the story is: Don’t be a Debbie Downer! (Unless it’s your sister and you know you can get away with it!)
