A new book review
I’ve had this one on my shelf for a very long time. Someone recommended it to me and I jumped right in and bought it. But then every time I picked it up off the shelf and read the back I put it back down. Well last night, during a strong bout of procrastination, I picked it up again. I read the first few pages and was hooked. At 3AM, I finally forced myself to close it and go to sleep and today it has been murder to NOT hole up and find out how it ends. It’s a REALLY good one!!!
Just realized that I haven’t mentioned that it’s called “The Time Traveler’s Wife.” Unless something totally freakish happens in the last 100 pages, I highly recommend it!

Is it similar to the movie Premonition http://qurl.com/988yv where Sandra Bullock’s character lives through the days of a week out of order?
Reviews of the book on Amazon http://qurl.com/7h8th also look very good!

I haven’t seen that movie but it sounds good! Henry, the time traveler, is transported to a random place in time without any notice or control. He arrives randomly and naked and has to figure things out from there. Sometimes he pops into the past and sometimes the future. His 27 year old self helps his 5 year old self learn to survive and he spends a lot of time in the past with his future wife. Its premise sounds really strange but it really works well and it is truly riveting. (TONS of foreshadowing so someone that figures things out in advance may find it predictable. I however totally get taken along for the ride when I read!)
